Happy Tuesday, collectors! We’re pleased to present to you We Are So Good Together (still! again!), by the multi-talented (and 20x200’s own) Dylan Fareed.

Like the first edition of We Are So Good Together, this hand-pulled, letterpress print is the best of the basics—wood type, one color and white paper. This time, though, its hue is blue (process blue with a dash of metallic silver, to be specific). While Dylan swore when we released the red rendition of WASGT that it would be the last one, ever, since it disappeared from our virtual flat files, requests for another simply haven’t ceased. It seems there are a lot of you who wish to say We Are So Good Together to someone else—a friend, a partner, a lover, your mother, a fellow printmaker, flatmates, families or dinner-party guests—or rather, perhaps, you share Dylan’s sentiment—he described it as a post-break-up, “half-hearted joke about the bond between a guy and the paper that hangs on his wall.”

The print’s enduring wide appeal was immediately evident when a photo of Dylan’s studio (with the barely visible print in the background) incidentally circulated the interwebs. Eagle-eyed letterpress lovers around the world spotted the print and emails from would-be collectors started pouring in. One of those emails was from Jen. For her, then, “we” meant the team of people we’re lucky to work with at 20x200 (and which now also includes Dylan), as well as all the others who make 20x200 possible—our artists, investors and, of course, our collectors. For all of us, that still rings true, so consider this an early Valentine to all of you.

If you, too, take a fancy to this print, make haste. They’re sure to disappear as quickly as our first edition did. But know for certain, as John Steinbeck once wrote to his love-sick son, “Nothing good gets away.” And speaking of ones that might get away, dear lady friends, Dylan is single, (still! again!), handy and handsome.
