ARTIST STATEMENT

I made this photograph while working on an ongoing series called Where We Go. In broad, the series is about where people go to enjoy nature, and how we rarely have an unadulterated experience of it. We go to places that were built for us to get close to the wilderness without having to experience the harshness of true outdoors. The other side of the project is about where my wife and I take our young son for recreation. Having a baby changes everything about how one experiences the world. Alone is no longer lonesome, and the sunshine is never taken for granted.

These prints are created using archival pigment inks on 100% cotton rag paper with a luster finish.

Our quoted dimensions are for the size of paper containing the images, not the printed image itself. We do not alter the aspect ratio, nor do we crop or resize the artists’ originals. All of our prints have a minimum border of .5 inches to allow for framing.

We recommend a custom frame in black solid wood with UV protected plexiglass and a white archival mat. Please note: Framed art may take up to 4 weeks to ship. Available for U.S. orders only.
