ARTIST STATEMENT

Photographic images often serve as metaphors or symbols for organizational principles by which we live.

Disney World, a pedestrian park, succeeds in separating people from their cars by surrounding the park with massive car lots. Ground markings position the cars into diagonal rows, yielding a random but consistent pattern of color that changes each day against the grey pavement. This pattern will disperse in the evening and reappear after sunrise. The color palette made from the tops of cars gradually changes year to year with the fashion of the times.

These prints are created using archival pigment inks on 100% cotton rag paper with a luster finish.

Our quoted dimensions are for the size of paper containing the images, not the printed image itself. We do not alter the aspect ratio, nor do we crop or resize the artists’ originals. All of our prints have a minimum border of .5 inches to allow for framing.

We recommend a custom frame in black solid wood with UV protected plexiglass and a white archival mat. Please note: Framed art may take up to 4 weeks to ship. Available for U.S. orders only.
