20x200Artists Superdeluxe (Adrienne Wong and Karin Spraggs)

Karin Spraggs received her BFA in design with a minor in both painting and book arts from the University of Georgia. Her formal education also includes Post-Baccalaureate programs in Italy and England where she focused on design and painting. Karin's first job was with The Pushpin Group where she gained experience in all aspects of graphic design: typography, posters, packaging and books. In 2004, she started silkscreening portraits that have been commissioned by a variety of clients including the Forbes family and Julianne Moore.

Adrienne Wong was born and raised in California and lives and works in New York City as a graphic designer and printmaker. She received her BFA in Communication Arts from Otis Parsons School of Design in Los Angeles, CA. Her education immersed her in the tactile world of letterpress: inks, paper and old school machines. The purity of the letterform has always been an aspect of her work.

Karin and Adrienne created Superdeluxe in 2005 as a company dedicated to hand-crafted, tactile silkscreen and letterpress which they use on a variety of products from artwork to housewares.
