Ky Anderson grew up in Kansas City. Influenced by the art community she grew up in, she can't remember a time when she did not make art. She has a BFA from The Kansas City Art Institute in Sculpture. She moved to Brooklyn in 1996, but in after 8 years of living in the city she started slowly relocating to upstate NY. Being upstate allows her to pursue her gardening obsession. This year she has moved her studio upstate and finds that she can get so much more done where its quiet and green. She has shown her work all over the country.
