Clare Grill is a painter from the west suburbs of Chicago. She grew up in a Catholic family of five kids, all close in age, and has over fifty cousins. There was much play time and not much alone time. She went to college in St. Paul, MN and then moved to New York to get her MFA at Pratt Institute.
