Amy Park is in love with the history of architecture and building materials. She works exclusively in watercolor and pushes the medium beyond its constraints by creating large scale and hard-edged, geometric compositions. Park holds an MFA from the University of Wisconsin at Madison and has shown her work in galleries across the country, including, Project Row House in Houston, TX and Gahlberg Gallery in Glen Ellyn, IL. Her work is included in the forthcoming book, Can I Come Over to Your House? The First Ten Years of the Suburban. She was a recipient of the Marie Walsh Sharpe Space Program Grant for 2007-2008.
