I grew up in the small coastal town of Big Sur, California. My closest friends lived miles away up dirt roads, so I had a lot of spare time to fill. I read a lot and I drew a lot. I would draw little stories to entertain myself. I applied and was accepted to the California College of Arts and Crafts, in Oakland, California, where I was a student from 2001 until 2005. After school I moved back to Big Sur to clear out my head and focus on my work. After it became clear that my head was as clear as it was going to get, I moved to Brooklyn, where I am now living with my beautiful and brilliant girlfriend.
