Amze Emmons is an artist, illustrator and curator living in Philadelphia, PA. Born in rural Upstate New York, he received a BFA from Ohio Wesleyan University and went on to receive his MA and MFA from the University of Iowa. He teaches art at Muhlenberg College, a small liberal arts college located in the Lehigh Valley. His work is exhibited both nationally and internationally, and he is also a contributing editor for Printeresting.

Do you have any interesting/unusual hobbies?: Interesting is debatable, but I'm a rabid reader, I enjoy dérive walks, collect ephemeral print art.
Which artists inspire you?: At the moment I'm spending a lot of time looking at: marjetica potrc, Francesc Ruiz, Stephanie Syjuco, Fancis Picabia, Ben Shahn, Temporary Services, Adam Pendleton, and Ben Katchor.
What are your favorite foods?: Anything that comes in it's own container, burritos, dumplings, bananas, eggs, etc.
