Self-taught photographer Alex Brown was born in Hong Kong, raised in London and currently lives in New York City. His work has been featured in major publications, including Elle, Vice, Soma, Slam and Trace.
A recent project involved setting up a photo booth inside a tent in Brooklyn and conducting five-minute portrait sessions. The Pop Up Photo Booth was widely successful, and Brown now plans to continue the project in other cities and countries.
He still prefers shooting film to digital. When not taking photographs, Alex can be found deep in the woods in Upstate New York or surfing on Long Island (preferably on Christmas Day).
