Parsley Steinweiss was born and raised in New York City. She received her BA from Sarah Lawrence College and her MFA from SUNY Purchase. She has appeared in a number of exhibitions in New York and L.A., including the Broadway Gallery, Jen Bekman Gallery and at the New York Slideluck Potshow XIII. She has also been featured in the Humble Arts Foundation’s The Collector’s Guide to Emerging Art Photography. She was a winner of the 2009 First Edition Hey, Hot Shot! competition and of the 2009 International Exhibition of Fine Art Photography competition, juried by Andy Adams. She lives and works in Greenpoint, Brooklyn.
