Memory, place and family history are the themes at the heart of Kevin J. Miyazaki’s photographs. Much of his work focuses on the remains of both physical space and memory, taking on the role of visual evidence. In addition to the series Fast Food, he’s currently at work on his series Camp Home, in which he documents the re-use of Japanese internment camp buildings in Northern California.
