Born and raised in New England, Marcie Paper is an artist currently living and working in Brooklyn. She makes paintings and stop-animated films that investigate the track and significance of short-term memory. She received her MFA from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst in 2006. Since then, she has attended a number of residencies and has shown her work nationally.
