I made this photograph while on the southeast coast of Norway. I was staying with Eivind at his family's home while he was working on a record. I had been listening to it a lot and started to think about music in a visual way.
If music could weave itself visually into our surroundings, how might it happen? I thought of the balloons as these little creatures that would spring up in the woods every time a song hit a special moment or melody.
Note: this is a square image so there will be a large white border on one side of the print.
These prints are created using archival pigment inks on 100% cotton rag paper with a luster finish.
This print is also available in smaller sizes.
Our quoted dimensions are for the size of paper containing the images, not the printed image itself. We do not alter the aspect ratio, nor do we crop or resize the artists' originals. All of our prints have a minimum border of .5 inches to allow for framing.
