Photographic images often serve as metaphors or symbols for organizational principles by which we live.
Disney World, a pedestrian park, succeeds in separating people from their cars by surrounding the park with massive car lots. Ground markings position the cars into diagonal rows yielding a random but consistent pattern of color that changes each day against the grey pavement. This pattern will disperse in the evening and reappear after sunrise. The color pallet made up from the tops of cars gradually changes year to year with the fashion of the times.
