"All that I need is inside of me." -Sinead O'Connor.
Resting on a Bush is from my earlier project Imaginary Girlfriend. I did this project when I first came to the USA and studied photography. At that time, I was pretty much isolated from everything and everyone I was familiar with. But loneliness is not something I'm scared of; instead I enjoyed the uninterrupted internal dialog with myself. I viewed myself as my imaginary girlfriend. In my photos, I faced the possibility of being a lesbian and what type of girlfriend would be ideal for me.
These prints are created using archival pigment inks on 100% cotton rag paper with a matte finish.
Our quoted dimensions are for the size of paper containing the images, not the printed image itself. We do not alter the aspect ratio, nor do we crop or resize the artists' originals. All of our prints have a minimum border of .5 inches to allow for framing.
