The series Snownight is a personal project that emerged from the half-happy, half-sentimental feeling of being home after a long stay abroad. While away, I missed my homeland and was looking forward to re-exploring it, realizing how much I actually appreciated it.
Night photography is slow and calm, a precise process that suits me and my way of working. There is less distraction at night — both visually and acoustically — than during the day. The artificial aesthetic, the light, color and atmosphere that can be found during night, appeal to me and match my understanding of beauty.

Our quoted dimensions are for the size of paper containing the images, not the printed image itself. We do not alter the aspect ratio, nor do we crop or resize the artists' originals. All of our prints have a minimum border of .5 inches to allow for framing.
