Most of my paintings are begun from experience, from the elements of a memory. Sometimes I like to let the specific elements of those experiences repeat in a new work, allowing them to simplify or clarify something from a moment. However, lately things have ended up more visually complex - with more people, more intense landscapes, and more layering.
Grande Finale View a larger version of this image. These prints are created using archival pigment inks on 100% cotton rag paper with a matte finish. The original is gouache and pastel on paper, it is no longer available. Our quoted dimensions are for the size of paper containing the images, not the printed image itself. We do not alter the aspect ratio, nor do we crop or resize the artists' originals. All of our prints have a minimum border of .5 inches to allow for framing.
