This image is one from an ongoing series made on a farm in western Wisconsin and based around the theme of Memento Mori. Having grown up in London and always lived in cities, I am fascinated by the countryside with its evidence of the cycle of life and death all around.
I chose photogravure as the medium because, as an etching process, it has the ability to render the image closer to a pencil drawing than a photograph.

These prints were created using archival pigment inks on 100% cotton rag paper with a luster finish from a 7" x 6" photogravure original. For more information on the photogravures (available in an edition of 10) send an email to collector at 20x200.com.
Our quoted dimensions are for the size of paper containing the images, not the printed image itself. We do not alter the aspect ratio, nor do we crop or resize the artists' originals. All of our prints have a minimum border of .5 inches to allow for framing.
