I am concerned with making the materials and processes behind my work clear to the viewer. This rests primarily in the way the images are constructed, but also in the manner that they are painted or drawn.
My most recent paintings and drawings are complex variations of a swastika shape: that is, an equilateral cross with its arms bent at right angles. Aside from this structure, there are several rules I follow, most importantly that neither positive nor negative areas be wider than each other, except in the central axis.
The original is 34 x 34 inches, acrylic on canvas and is available for purchase. Please contact collector at 20x200.com for more information.
These prints are created using archival pigment inks on 100% cotton rag paper with a matte finish.
Our quoted dimensions are for the size of paper containing the images, not the printed image itself. We do not alter the aspect ratio, nor do we crop or resize the artists' originals. All of our prints have a minimum border of .5 inches to allow for framing.
